Myofunctional therapy is a non-invasive approach to treating orofacial myofunctional disorders or OMD's, which involves behaviors and patterns created by inappropriate muscle function and incorrect habits involving the tongue, lips, and jaw.

Symptoms may result in:

-Lack of lip seal (mouthbreathing), possibly leading to occlusal dysfunction.

-Low forward tongue rest may be linked to orthodontic relapse, psychological, cosmetic and structural issues.
